How To Pour A Perfect Pint of Guinness
Updated: Dec 7, 2018
At the Wheeltapper, we are committed to giving our customers the perfect pint of Guinness every time they ask for one. In our early days, we actually had representatives from Guinness come in to train our team of bartenders on how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness Draught. That method is still used to this day.
The famous Guinness 'two-part' pour starts with a clean, dry glass. Pour the Guinness into a glass tilted at 45 degrees, until it is three-quarters full. Allow the surge to settle for almost two full minutes before filling the glass completely to the top. Your perfect pint, complete with its creamy white head, is then ready to drink.
